'Oliver Twist' (Hungarian: 'Twist Olivr') is a 1919 Hungarian silent drama film directed by Mrton Garas and starring Tibor Lubinszky, Emil Fenyvessy and Jen Trzs. It is an adaptation of the 1838 novel 'Oliver Twist' by Charles Dickens.Laura Horak, 'Girls Will Be Boys: Cross-Dressed Women, Lesbians, and American Cinema, 1908-1934' (Rutgers University Press, 2016).
