"'Ikaw ang Liwanag at Ligaya'" is a Filipino-language Christmas song produced by the media company ABS-CBN. The song was released on December 1, 2020.
Concept
Written by lyricist Love Rose de Leon and Robert G. Labayen and composer Thyro Alfaro. The song messages that God is the source of light and love in the dark time, it also shows inspires the stories of the people around the world that they continue to hold their faith to God to survive the COVID-19 pandemic and other unfortunate events. This was the first ABS-CBN Christmas Station ID that was released after the network shutdown of its free TV and radio broadcasting operations as ordered by the National Telecommunications Commission on May 5, 2020 due to the expiration of its broadcasting franchise one day earlier on May 4, 2020 and the denial of the renewal of its franchise by the House of Representatives on July 10, 2020. The station ID trend on Facebook and YouTube with over 3 million views less than 24 hours before it was released.
