Content

This song is a celebration of home, family, and such simple pleasures as seeing the kids get off the bus at the end of the school day.[http://www.billboard.com/bbcom/content_display/reviews/singles/e3i09f751dd163aa41135cc78a8c09d85d9 Billboard Song Reviews - "Some Things Never Change."] The song's title, "some things never change", is based on how the central character realizes that, while things may change in the world around her, the basics of love between family will never change.[http://countrymusic.about.com/od/cdreviewsal/fr/SaraEvansGH.htm Sara Evans' Greatest Hits at Country Music.About.com]
