Wikipedia article

"'Any Fule Kno That'" is the first song on the 1998 album 'Abandon' by Deep Purple.Martin C. Strong, 'The Great Rock Discography: Complete Discographies Listing Every Track Recorded by More Than 1,200 Artists' (Canongate U.S., 2004), [https://books.google.com/books?id=_WoRAPJQ58sC&pg=PA396&dq=%22Any+Fule+Kno+That%22&ei=yqv7SJTWEIyuyAS01oHFBg 396]. Vocalist Ian Gillan takes a spoken word approach in the verses to the song, comparable to rapping. It is also one of the rare occasions in which his lyrics are explicit, in this case using the word "shit". The unusual spelling of the title comes from the Nigel Molesworth books.Dave Thompson, 'Smoke on the Water: The Deep Purple Story' (ECW Press, 2004), [https://books.google.com/books?id=LzzCw6xs9roC&pg=PA299&dq=%22Any+Fule+Kno+That%22&ei=yqv7SJTWEIyuyAS01oHFBg 299].
