'"So Pretty"' is a 1968 anti-war song by Leonard Bernstein to lyrics by Betty Comden and Adolph Green, contributed to a 'Broadway for Peace' fundraiser on January 21, 1968, at Lincoln Center's Philharmonic Hall.Allen Shawn 'Leonard Bernstein: An American Musician' 0300144288-2014 Page 208 " Bernstein contributed the song So Pretty, with words by Comden and Green, to a Broadway for Peace fundraiser and later introduced the senator at rallies in New York and Boston, while Felicia worked privately raising money for his antiwar ..." The song was performed by Barbra Streisand dressed in a gingham smock and fisherman's hat and accompanied by the composer at the piano.Terry Rowan 'Penny Laine's Anthology' 2015 --1105582302 Page 269 "Dressed in an unattractive gingham smock and fisherman's hat and accompanied by Leonard Bernstein, Streisand sang 'So Pretty,' an antiwar ballad by Bernstein with lyrics by Betty Comden and Adolph Green.
