'The Innocent' is a 2022 French drama film, directed by Louis Garrel, from a screenplay by Garrel, Tanguy Viel and Nala Guiguet. It stars Roschdy Zem, Anouk Grinberg, Nomie Merlant and Garrel.
It had its world premiere at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival in May 18, 2022. It is scheduled to be released in France on 12 October 2022, by Ad Vitam Distribution.

In December 2021, it was announced Roschdy Zem, Anouk Grinberg, Nomie Merlant, and Louis Garrel had joined the cast of the film, with Garrel set to direct from a screenplay by himself, Tanguy Viel and Nala Guiguet.
Principal photography began in November 2021.
Release
