'Bring It On: Cheer or Die' is an upcoming American made-for-television Halloween slasher film set to debut on Syfy on October 8, 2022. It is the seventh installment of the 'Bring It On' series of cheerleading movies, following 'Bring It On: Worldwide Cheersmack' (2017), although it differs from its predecessors in that it largely ditches the comedic tone and goes for a more horror-themed angle.
Premise
The film centers on a cheer squads plan to have a secret practice at a nearby abandoned school on Halloween takes a terrifying turn when their teammates begin disappearing one by one.
Cast
Missi Pyle, Kerri Medders, and Tiera Skovybe have been cast in undisclosed roles.
Production
The film was first announced by Syfy on May 14, 2021, with its official title being revealed on December 16. Filming took place in Canada.
Release and promotion
The first teaser trailer was released on YouTube on September 12, 2022, with promotional screenshots having been released on August 31.
