'Everything Went Fine' is a 2021 French drama film, written and directed by Franois Ozon. It is based upon the novel 'Everything Went Well' by Emmanule Bernheim. It stars Sophie Marceau, Andr Dussollier, Graldine Pailhas, Charlotte Rampling, Hanna Schygulla, ric Caravaca and Grgory Gadebois.
It had its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival on 7 July 2021. It is scheduled to be released in France on 22 September 2021, by Diaphana Distribution.
Plot

Production
In March 2020, it was announced Sophie Marceau, Andr Dussollier and Latitia Clment had joined the cast of the film, with Franois Ozon directing from a screenplay he wrote, based upon the novel 'Everything Went Well' by Emmanule Bernheim. Principal photography began in late 2020.
Release
It had its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival on 7 July 2021. Shortly after, Cohen Media Group and Curzon Artificial Eye acquired U.S. and U.K. distribution rights to the film. It is scheduled to be released in France on 22 September 2021, by Diaphana Distribution.
Critical reception
On review aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes, the film holds an approval rating of 92% based on 13 reviews, with an average rating of 6.50/10.
