'Too Late to Die Young' is a 2018 Chilean film directed by Dominga Sotomayor Castillo. She became the first woman ever to win the Leopard for Best Direction at the Locarno Festival. This coming of age tale, set in 'Comunidad Ecolgica de Pealoln', an intentional rural community in Santiago's precordillera around 1990 new year's eve in Chile, follows a teen girl named Sofa (Demian Hernndez) as she navigates adolescence.
