'8 Bars And A Clef' is 2016 Nigerian musical film produced and directed by Chioma Onyenwe. The film navigated the themes of love, drama and victory while blending the original music from IBK Spaceshipboi, the lead character. The movie stars Bimbo Akintola, Linda Ejiofor, Kehinde Bankole, Wale Ojo, IBK SPaceshipboi and others
Synopsis
The movie revolves around musically gifted recording artist with dyslexia and how he keeps up with his career and personal Life in front of unending musical competition in order to stay at the top.
Premiere
The movie was first previewed in 2015 at African International Film Festival (AFRIFF). However, the first public premiering was at the Genesis Deluxe Cinemas in Lekki, Lagos on the 29th of May 2016 to a group of audience. In attendance were crew of the film and notable actors and actresses such as Bimbo Akintola, Linda Ejiofor, Kehinde Bankole, Wale Ojo, Ade Bantu, IBK SPaceshipboi, Olumide Oworu and Blink. Rita Dominic, Lala Akindoju, Adesua Etomi, Lynxxx, Uti Nwachukwu.
