The film centres on Kenneth Young, a Florida man who has been serving four consecutive life sentences in prison since participating in armed robberies as a teenager, who is advocating for his release from prison after the United States Supreme Court ruled in 'Graham v. Florida' that it was unconstitutional to sentence children to life imprisonment if they had not committed murder.
