'Sapnon Ka Mandir' is a 1991 Indian Hindi-language drama film, produced by Suresh Kumar under the Kamla Productions banner and directed by Pradip Jain. It stars Jeetendra, Jaya Prada in the pivotal roles and music composed by LaxmikantPyarelal.

Plot



Sanjay Sharma (Jeetendra) a good soul marries an ideal companion Sangeeta (Jaya Prada). Soon, she becomes pregnant but the doctor advises to abort as there is a risk to the mothers life. During that plight, a blind Muslim beggar Maulah Baba (Kader Khan) boasts their courage, and they are blessed with a baby boy Sonu. However, Sangeeta can never again conceive. Years roll by, Sanjay & Sangeeta dote on Sonu as ever and he befriends Maulah Baba. One day, Sonu does not return from school which panics the parents. Exploiting it, a local goon Gullu (Gulshan Grover) torments them as he holds the previous rivalry even, though he is unaware of Sonus whereabouts. Indeed, Sonu is locked in the school due to laps of the staff, and since, it is vacation he struck therein. Meanwhile, grief-stricken Sangeeta goes into Virgo of insane. At last, Gullu locates Sonu and tries to abduct him when Maulah Baba rescues him by sacrificing his life. Finally, the movie ends on a happy note with the reunion of Sonu with his parents.
