'Sazaa' is a 1972 Indian Hindi-language action thriller film, produced by S.K. Kapur under the Kapur Films banner and directed by Chand. It stars Ashok Kumar, Pran, Kabir Bedi, Yogeeta Bali while Jeetendra, Rekha have given special appearances and music composed by Sonik Omi.
Plot
The film begins with 4 dreadful gangsters Shankar (Madan Puri), Ranjeet (Kundan), Pinto (Kamal Deep), & Sultan (Rajan Haksar) while absconding from Police with their smuggled gold worth 1 crore, they hide in a house of Barrister Raghuveer Sahay. Indoors, Mrs. Sahay (Paro), and his daughter Geeta (Sonia Sahni) are murdered. The incident creates turbulence when the government appoints an intelligence officer Jagadish Prasad / Jaggi (Ashok Kumar). I.G. (Murad) acolytes a prisoner Brij Mohan / Briju (Kadir Bedi) to aid him as he is a bigwig at netherworld. Jaggi forges as a jewel thief, acquainted with several bootleggers. Sohanlal (Pran) a daredevil is one among them. Later, Jaggi contacts the four and pretends as whisked with them. Here, Sohanlal is aware of the secret of hidden gold, and he is behind them. In tandem, Briju falls for Suman (Yogeeta Bali) daughter of Sohanlal. Then, surprisingly the four are killed in a spree. At last, it stupefies that Jaggi is Barrister Raghuveer Sahay who slew the four as vengeance and Sohanlal is the real CBI officer DIG Varma. Finally, the movie ends with Raghuveer Sahay surrendering to Police.
