'Silent Night, Lonely Night' is a 1959 play by Robert Anderson.
The 1959 production on Broadway starred Henry Fonda and Barbara Bel Geddes.'Silent Night, Lonely Night': Fonda and Barbara Bel Geddes Star Robert Anderson Play Opens at Morosco, by Brooks Atkinson. 'The New York Times', 4 December 1959, p. 36.
It was Anderson's last play for a number of years.
