'The River Schooners' is a Canadian documentary film, which was directed by Pierre Perrault and released in 1968.David Clandfield, 'Pierre Perrault and the Poetic Documentary'. 'Le Monde', July 5, 2007. the film portrays workers in L'Isle-aux-Coudres, Quebec, who are employed in the traditional but fading art of building wooden schooners.
