'The Switch' is a 1963 British crime drama film directed by Peter Maxwell and starring Anthony Steel, Zena Marshall and Conrad Phillips.[https://web.archive.org/web/20090115092218/http://ftvdb.bfi.org.uk/sift/title/364285 BFI.org] The screenplay involves a criminal gang that smuggles watches into the country by hiding them in a petrol tank of a woman's car. It was Susan Shaw's last film.

Plot



Caroline Markham (Zena Marshall) is abducted by a criminal gang because she knows too much. The gang specialise in smuggling wrist watches into the country. Customs official Bill Craddock (Anthony Steel) attempts to rescue Caroline.
