'Gold' is a Canadian short documentary film, directed by Colin Low and released in 1955.Wyndham Wise, 'Take One's Essential Guide to Canadian Film'. University of Toronto Press, 2001. . Entry "Colin Low". The film documents the process of gold mining.

The film won the Canadian Film Award for Best Theatrical Short Film at the 8th Canadian Film Awards in 1956.Maria Topalovich, 'And the Genie Goes To...: Celebrating 50 Years of the Canadian Film Awards'. Stoddart Publishing, 2000. . pp. 33-35. Low followed up with his 1957 film 'City of Gold', which centred on the history of Dawson City during the Klondike Gold Rush.
