'The Sinful Village' is a 1954 West German comedy film directed by Ferdinand Drfler and starring Joe Stckel, Gnther Lders and Renate Mannhardt.[https://web.archive.org/web/20090207050846/http://ftvdb.bfi.org.uk/sift/title/362319 BFI.org] It was based on the play 'Das sndige Dorf' by Max Neal. It is a remake of the 1940 film of the same title.Ludewig p.220

It was shot at the Bavaria Studios in Munich. The film's sets were designed by the art director Wolf Englert and Max Mellin.
