'Amarakavi' is a 1952 Indian Tamil language film produced and directed by F. Nagoor. The film stars M. K. Thyagaraja Bhagavathar and T. R. Rajakumari. This film was a moderate success, this was the last successful film for Bhagavathar before his demise. Bhagavathar faced criticism for his acting as the critics feel that he is more suitable for character roles.
