'A Strange Adventure' is a 1932 American Pre-Code mystery film directed by Phil Whitman and starring Regis Toomey, June Clyde and Lucille La Verne.Gates p. 95 It is also known by the alternative title of 'The Wayne Murder Case'.

PLOT SYNOPSIS

"Someone got their wish"---"You mean EVERYONE!"

When disagreeable millionaire Silas Wayne(Mong) is murdered in his home in full view of many witnesses who

"saw nothing",it is up to homicide detective Mitchell(Toomey) to unravel which of the deceased's employees or

greedy relatives committed the crime.

Only servant Snowflake notices the masked killer prowling the mansion,and he is repeatedly disbelieved.
