'Mockery' is an American short silent film directed by Laurence Trimble for Vitagraph. The movie was released on June 5, 1912, being

Marshall P. Wilder's first appearance in a dramatic role.Anthony Slide 'The Big V: A History of the Vitagraph Company' 1987 p155 "... as "The Prince of Entertainers and the Entertainer of Princes," Marshall P. Wilder was featured in a group of Vitagraph films of 1912. Much publicity was given to his first appearance in a dramatic role in Mockery , released on June 5, 1912."
