'The Wish Machine' (Russian: ' ', 'Mashna zhelniy', literally "Machine of wishes"), also called 'Stalker', is a screenplay by Boris and Arkady Strugatsky for the movie 'Stalker' that in turn is based on a part of their 1972 novel 'Roadside Picnic', published in 'Avrora' issues 79.
