"'Under the Influence'" is a song by American singer Chris Brown, featured on the expanded edition of his ninth studio album 'Indigo' (2019). The single was written by Brown along with Nigerian singer Davido, and produced by Kiddominant. It was later released as a single on September 6, 2022, after going viral on TikTok. A sped-up version titled "Under the Influence (Body Language)", was also released.
Under the Influence became a sleeper hit; going viral almost three years after its initial release on TikTok. The song entered the charts in most regions for the first time including reaching the top ten in Australia, Luxembourg, Greece, Malaysia, New Zealand, South Africa, Philippines, Singapore, Slovakia, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom. It has since received three gold, a platinum, and a silver music certification. The song will impact US urban and rhythmic radio on September 20.
