Wikipedia article'God's Crooked Lines' is an upcoming Spanish psychological thriller film directed by Oriol Paulo which stars Brbara Lennie. It is an adaptation of the 1979 novel of the same name by Torcuato Luca de Tena. PlotThe fiction follows a woman (Alice Gould) who is interned in a psychiatric hospital, whereas she believes to be a privately-hired investigator doing some digging about a murder case. CastProductionAn adaptation of the 1979 bestseller by , 'Los renglones torcidos de Dios' was written by the director Oriol Paulo alongside . Bernat Bosch took over cinematography duties whereas Fernando Velzquez worked as composer. The film was produced by Nostromo Pictures, Atresmedia Cine and Filmayer. Filming started in May 2021, and wrapped 9 weeks later. Shooting took place in several locations of the provinces of Tarragona and Barcelona. The old in Tarragona was used to portray the psychiatric hospital. ReleaseThe film will screen at the section of the 70th San Sebastin International Film Festival. Distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures Espaa, it was set for a 7 October 2022 theatrical release. It was later moved one day earlier up to 6 October 2022.
