'The Bottle' is a Canadian comedy-drama film, directed by Alain DesRochers and released in 2000.[http://www.filmsquebec.com/films/bouteille-alain-desrochers/ "Bouteille, La Film dAlain Desrochers"]. 'Films du Qubec', January 5, 2009. The film stars Ral Boss and Franois Papineau as Ral and Franois, two longtime friends who decide to recover a beer bottle, containing a paper on which they wrote down their hopes and dreams for the future, which they buried 15 years earlier in the back yard of Antoine (Jean Lapointe), a grumpy old man.

The film's cast also includes Hlne Loiselle, Pascale Bussires, Louis Champagne, Sylvie Moreau and Jean-Pierre Ferland."Half full: La Bouteille is promising debut for video director Alain DesRochers". 'Montreal Gazette', October 20, 2000.
