Directed by Paul Wendkos, the film stars Loni Anderson as Todd, Maryedith Burrell, Robert Davi, Paul Dooley, Linda Kelsey, and John O'Hurley. Working titles for the film were 'The Thelma Todd Story' and 'Hot Toddy', Todd's nickname during her career.
