'Tango Bar' is a 1987 Argentine-Puerto Rican musical drama film directed by Marcos Zurinaga and starring Raul Julia, Rubn Jurez and Valeria Lynch. It was written by Zurinaga with Juan Carlos Codazzi and Jos Pablo Feinmann. It was selected as the Puerto Rican entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 61st Academy Awards, but was not accepted as a nominee.Margaret Herrick Library, Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences
Plot
A fled Tango show owner returns to Buenos Aires to join his partners after the oppressive government of Argentina dissolves.
