'Ravi Chandra' is a 1980 Kannada-language romantic drama film directed by A. V. Sheshagiri Rao, written by Shankar-Sundar and produced by Parvathamma Rajkumar. This was Sumalatha's debut film in Kannada. The screenplay, dialogues and lyrics are written by Chi. Udaya Shankar.
The film was a musical blockbuster with all the songs composed by Upendra Kumar considered evergreen hits. After 'Nanobba Kalla' , Rajkumar played a dual role in his immediately next movie which was this movie. This is the only time in his career, he played dual roles in back to back movies.
