'Don't Grieve' (; ) is a 1969 Soviet comedy film directed by Georgiy Daneliya.[http://cinema.mosfilm.ru/films/film/1960-1969/ne-goryuy/?show !] Film is loosely based on the novel "My uncle Benjamen" by French writer Claude Tillier.

Plot



In the end of the 19th century, a young doctor, Benjamen Glonti, returns to a small village in his native Georgia after finishing his medical studies in St. Petersburg. A series of comic events unfold around him.
