'Vikramaadhithan' is a 1962 Indian Tamil-language film starring M. G. Ramachandran, Padmini and Sriranjini. This film took longest time since Ramachandran suffered a leg injury when playing the drama 'Inbakkanavu' at Sirghazhi and somehow managed to release on 27 October 1962. It had a 70- day run and was not considered as a success in box office, for a Ramachandran movie.

Plot



Vikramaditya was a king of Ujjain. Vikramaditya killed Nganaseedor a Munivar in order to save an innocent girl. Vikramaditya married Amaranaattu princess Rathinamaalai. The brothers of Nganaseedor grow enmity on Vikramaditya. Vikramaditya killed Karthigayan and at last Paramanandam (brothers of Nganaseedor) and saved princess Muthunagai from Sivanandipuram. He saved his wife Rathinamaalai from Madurapuri king where Vikramaditya disguised himself and worked as commander.

Susheela, P. Leela, Jikki & T. V. Rathnam.
