'Mystery in Shanghai' (French: 'Mystre Shanghai') is a 1950 French crime film directed by Roger Blanc and starring Paul Bernard, Hlne Perdrire and Maurice Teynac.[https://archive.today/20120708192005/http://ftvdb.bfi.org.uk/sift/title/289181 BFI.org] It is based on the novel 'La Nuit du 12 au 13' by Stanislas-Andr Steeman.

The film's sets were designed by the art director Aim Bazin.

Synopsis



In Shanghai, a Chinese criminal organisation plans to kill Herbert Aboody if he doesn't pay them $50,000.
