'Carnival Evening' (Swedish: 'Marknadsafton') is a 1948 Swedish comedy drama film directed by Ivar Johansson and starring Adolf Jahr, Emy Hagman and Sigge Frst.Krawc p.533 Qvist & Von Bagh p.93 It was shot at the Centrumateljerna Studios in Stockholm. The film's sets were designed by the art director Bibi Lindstrm and P.A. Lundgren.

Synopsis



The farmer Magni plans to marry Teresia, but the maid Lovisa has her own plans for him.
