'Dunungen' is a 1941 Swedish historical drama film directed by Weyler Hildebrand and starring Karin Nordgren, Adolf Jahr and Hilda Borgstrm.'Nordic National Cinemas' p.152 It is based on the 1914 play of the same title by Selma Lagerlf inspired by an earlier story of hers, which had previously been made into a 1919 silent film.Goble p.271, quote:"d: Weyler Hildebrand. lps: Karin Nordgren, Adolf Jahr, Hilda Borgstrom. 90M, SWD. 'Downy Girl' prod/rel: Ab Svensk Filmindustri" It was shot at the Rsunda Studios in Stockholm and on location at Nykping. The film's sets were designed by the art director Arne kermark.
