'The Written Law' is a 1931 British drama film directed by Reginald Fogwell and starring Madeleine Carroll, Percy Marmont and Henry Hewitt.[https://web.archive.org/web/20090114085506/http://ftvdb.bfi.org.uk/sift/title/58657 BFI.org] It was shot at Elstree Studios.Wood p.73 The screenplay concerns a man who is cured of blindness but conceals his recovery from his wife.
